They approached me almost 6 months ago, and asked for marketing fees, to me it looked like a scam, but I visited their offices in Ho Chi Minh City, it impressed me. I signed a distribution contract with them and far this deal is still working quite well, they buy quarterly for my Gin.

They signed us as distributor by 2023, and they did well what they planned, I like the way they do wine at tasting events, it's more crowded than the European market, Asia seems to be a place where business never sleeps, restaurants are open 7 days a week and until 12 midnight.

It is strange that the retail price in Vietnam when they import my wine to Vietnam, the price is almost 12 times higher than the retail price in Europe. How can Vietnamese people pay such a high price for a bottle of wine. The price in Italy is 7$ and they retail in Vietnam is 80$, maybe Vietnamese people are very rich?

They also asked for a large marketing budget from my company, in fact, we have too many brands. I spent more than 100,000 USD to go to trade shows in China, Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, unfortunately I could not find any distributor. Finally, I took the risk to cooperate with LalaWine, at least they are doing quite stable sales every year although the sales are not as big as expected.

Working with LalaWine has been an overall positive experience. team is professional, and they understand the market. Initially, I was a bit worried about their selective approach to my product range, but over time I realized their focus on quality helped boost our brand image. One area that could improve is their response time , sometimes communication lags by a few days but they always follow through. Despite some early delays, I’m happy with the steady sales and brand exposure we've gained.

I contributed the marketing cost, it's actually not that expensive for an event, but in a big market like Singapore and Vietnam, I accepted the investment, luckily after 1 year they made big order . The team is motivated at building brand. It did take a few months for orders to pick up, and selective nature meant some products weren’t immediately accepted. Still, they focus on quality has paid off, and we’ve seen stable sales since.

I visited their store in October 2023 in a central street of Ho Chi Minh City, their store is really beautiful and luxurious. I met their sales manager, took them to the restaurant chain they are distributing, they have a high-level distribution system, then I decided to cooperate, signed a distribution contract, and invested a sum of money to organize an event for my brand with them, they have done quite a good job of selling, and I am about satisfied with this cooperation. However, sometimes they reply to my messages a little slow, about 3-4 days.
